Why I don't recommend One Day Bath Remodeling... I don't like it

Downsides of one-day bath remodels: • Primarily cosmetic: Walls remain closed, leaving studs, mold, rot, and old plumbing unchecked. • Acrylic & composite walls: These can scratch, fade, or yellow, offer limited designs, and lack the resale value of tile. • Surface-level waterproofing: Relies on caulk and overlaps rather than full waterproof systems; caulk fails over time. • Limited customization: Pre-made sizes restrict design flexibility. • Price-to-value: Costs cover speed and overhead, not quality materials or structural upgrades. • No proper cure time: Fast installs skip necessary curing, affecting durability. • Harder to repair: Damaged panels often need full replacement, and repairs are less flexible than tile. • Resale impact: Tile suggests craftsmanship; acrylic panels suggest a temporary solution. ⸻ Truth: • One-day remodels aren’t scams • Best for rentals, flips, or speed-focused projects.

It’s insightful to highlight the downsides of one-day bath remodels; speed shouldn’t come at the cost of quality and long-term durability. user experiences
